Annie : Newborn

She was anxiously waited on by her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles....(all first-timers! woo)
And finally - sweet, precious, perfect Annie arrived on February 2nd.
She was definitely, definitely worth the wait :)

I was sooo excited to be the one to shoot her very first portraits..

She was very alert during the first part of the shoot..

uhm, pretty much obsessed with her baby toes

I'm in love with this chair, I'm even more in love with the baby in this chair :)

Annie : Sneak Peek

I know, I know...
I've been a little M.I.A around here these days but I promise things are going on behind the scenes..a new website...new logo...so stay tuned :)

In the meantime...

I got to spend all day last Saturday kissing, snuggling and taking pictures of my beautiful new niece, Annie.
She is sooo perfect and chubby...! I'm in love!
I haven't quite finished the edits yet...but I had to post this sneak peek...
Couldn't you just eat up those little toes!! :)

Lisa & Dan : Maternity

This shoot took place on the most frigid day. Seriously freeeezing.
We had plans to shoot outside at a sweet location but last minute had to switch it up due to the unbearable weather....it turned out really great though :)
We shot at RBG - the greenhouse area had the most amazing light...I was stoked :) (plus it smelled like springtime - bonus!)

The day of the shoot was the first time I got to meet Lisa and Dan (although we later realized we had met before in the past...soooo random!), I was a little anxious before the shoot, but it turns out they are awesome :) Totally up for anything and tons of fun to spend the afternoon with...
Not to mention Lisa has the most perfect pregnant belly! So cute!

Enjoy the last weeks of your pregnancy guys..!
I cant wait to meet the little one :)

Rebecca & Jerry : Maternity

Bec and I have known each other since grade two.

Wow – I’m not even going to mention how many years ago that was...yikes. :p
Anyway, I was so excited when she asked me to take some maternity photos for her. She was beautiful before she got pregnant and she is even more so now... (I don’t care what you say Bec, stunning!)Bec & Jerry – I feel so blessed to be able to document this incredible time in your lives… Enjoy the last weeks – I cant WAIT to meet your gorgeous little man!

Let me tell you...it was FREEZING that day. They were both such troopers..

Happy New Year!!!

Its 2010, can you believe it?

2009 was a fantastic ear, but I am definitely up for a clean slate, and a fresh start :)
One of my resolutions is to be little (or a lot) less sucky at blogging...
Please - hold me accountable to that one :)

My shoot with the "M" family was at the beginning of December and they were more than willing to brave the cold - at the beach no less!! :)
I had so much fun capturing this family, though the little men in this family had zero interest in posing for my camera we still got a ton of fun images. Photos of kids doing their own thing are always the best ones anyway...

Catherine and Cam - I hope you had fun and are enjoying your photos... :)

Family : The "W" Family

This is one of my favourite little families... :)

Maria and I go back to high school days, we were best buds not long after our first meeting in grade nine biology... :) We were an interesting pair with myself at 5'1 and Maria at 5'11 ish... haha..

A couple year after high school she went on to marry a great guy and a couple years after that...they now have a perfect, beauuuuuutiful baby girl....oooh I just love them so much :)

I hope you guys love the photos..!!
